Obituary of Patricia Coulombe LaMel

Patricia Coulombe LaMel, age 90, of Colorado Springs, Colorado went to be with her Lord and Savior, and beloved husband on January 12, 2021. She was at home in Colorado Springs with her daughter, Aleta LaMel Ridings. Her daughter had brought her home from the nursing home on October 21, so that she could be with her again in her last days, as the country's lockdown had prevented her from being able to see her and hug her and kiss her for more than seven months. Patricia began hospice care on December 11, and her daughter, Lorena Roberts, came for a visit at the last of the year, until January 4. On January 5, Patricia took a sharp turn towards her coming departure and last ate and spoke on January 7. For the next couple of days, she communicated by raised eyebrows and a slight nod, until she closed her eyes on January 10, not to open them again. She breathed peacefully for a day and a half, until she took her last breath on the morning of January 12, at 10:36AM. Patricia was an extraordinary and lovely woman, dearly loved by everyone who ever knew her.Patricia is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Eugene Marcel LaMel.
