Obituary of SSG Cristino E. Gonzales, U.S. Army,

SSG (Ret.) Cristino E. Gonzales, age 84, of Colorado Springs, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Memorial Hospital.Cris honorably served twenty-two years and retired from the U.S. Army. In his service, he did three tours to Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with ten Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal.If you knew Cris you know he loved camping, fishing, and roasting chiles. He leaves behind those who loved him and will miss him dearly.Graveside Service, 11:00AM, Thursday, February 11, 2021, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925. The service will be streamed live.
