God gave you so many talents and you always used them wisely. You were a wonderful husband to our daughter , Jennifer, always working together, and providing support when needed. You were an honest auto mechanic, a skilled carpenter, a fruitful gardener and a successful teacher. Going back to college in your 40's to become a certified teacher was hard but you did it! I'm very sad about the passing of our brother, Jimmy. We had a wonderful childhood; memories of family, friends and cousins filled my album of life. Fondest memory of camping was walking into the woods with pat and Jimmy to collect wood for our nightly fire. We were gone for hours; scavenging and talking and laughing. Just the 3 of us. Michele, Cynda and I worked with James since August. It was a short timeline, but memorable. James was such a good person, he made an impact on us. He will be missed. He was dedicated and his passion for students was apparent. Thank you James for your time with us, and thank you Jennifer for sharing him with us. Here is a message we sent to his colleagues: James' wife Jennifer asked us to express to GlobalED staff how much he enjoyed working with everyone. She said James was proud to be a part of the work that GlobalED does with students and that despite his fear of technology, he tried his best each and every day. He was always trying to come up with ways to improve and excited to try new things. James told her he was so excited to be part of GlobalED and that he never imagined an opportunity like this at this stage in his career. James adored the team he worked with, Paul, Cynda, and Michele, and expressed many times how fantastic everyone he worked with was. Jennifer said she could see how much thought and effort James put into his work and believes that this was the best job James ever had. James worked for Continental for 15 years, and today Continental is still employing highly skilled students whom he taught. He had a passion for at-promise youth and enjoyed working with our students. James was retired from the teaching profession and was previously an auto mechanic.

I'm so crushed by your passing. I'm sorry that we were not as close in the past few years since you guys moved out to Gods country. We may have had our fights and disagreements over the years but brothers can easily forgive and forget like mom always said. We always had great vacations together as a family. Growing up on Burmon drive with so many friends was just the greatest. I was very proud of you when you and Jennifer had the confidence to start your own business. I was also so proud of you when you told me you were going to be a teacher at Boces!! And then you did it!!!
