Obituary of Enio Ralph Dejesus, Jr.

Enio Ralph Dejesus, Jr., 73, passed away on February 1, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born September 14, 1947 in Manhattan, New York to Enio, Sr. and Luz (Aurora) Dejesus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Enio and Luz. Enio is survived by his wife, Maria DeJesus; son, Joshua Dejesus of Chicago, Illinois; daughter, Natalie (Elvin) Velazquez; and granddaughters, Sofia and Adelina of Chicago, Illinois; and stepdaughter, Zulema (Darrin) Woodhull of Monument, Colorado. Also surviving Enio are his sisters, Madelyn Davis and Elaine Delozano of Chicago, Illinois.As a child growing up in Chicago, Enio was passionate about baseball and sports in general, but baseball remained close to his heart. He studied HVAC and electrical systems which supported his long career primarily in building and facilities maintenance at a variety of financial institutions. For the last four years, Enio worked at a state-of-the-art workout facility which was fitting given his great enthusiasm for health and fitness; he made many friends there.Services will be held at a later date.
