Obituary
Obituary of Mary Frances Best
Mary peacefully went to Heaven on February 23, 2021. She was living with her son, Lee, and daughter-in-law, Lisa, at the time. Mary was loved deeply by God, her family and countless relatives and friends she served and met throughout her long lifetime. She was a giver and that trait defined her life. Mary was always thinking about others and generously sharing her time, resources and talents. She was a Woman of Excellence in every aspect of her life.Mary was ahead of her time; she went to college when few women did, she had her own successful business and she was outspoken about the things she believed in. Mary always took the time to let others know she appreciated them, and her kindness was always remembered by those whose lives she touched.Mary was a wonderful wife, married to the love of her life, Lee, for more than sixty years. She lovingly and faithfully cared for Lee in a time where he was not able to care for himself. Her selfless devotion and unwavering good humor demonstrated her incredible strength in the face of adversity. Mary was also a wonderful mother; an inspiration to her daughters and son. She always had time to listen, share advice and encourage them in their interest and pursuits. She was a strong and faithful woman of God. She kept journals of clippings, poems and inspirational writings; her notes were insightful and illustrated how close she was to God.She is survived by her three daughters, Mary (Troy) Best-Brill, Barbara (John) Best, and Suzanne (Robert) Best-Foster; her son, LeRoy, Jr. (Lisa) Best; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.Mary will be deeply missed by her family and those who have been touched by her. We are sure of where she is, with God in a place of beauty and wonder beyond our human comprehension. She has joined her husband, parents, a twin she is meeting for the first time, her relatives and a vast number of people who were blessed by her. And she is again, fully restored, laughing and sharing her amazingly brilliant sense of humor.
