Obituary of Erma "Fay" Dixon

Erma Fay Dixon, 74, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away March 5, 2021 in Colorado Springs. She was born July 4, 1946 to Lydia and Leroy Briley in Oakland, California .Erma Dixon went to high school at Berkley High School and graduated in 1964. She went on to earn a degree in beauty school and business from Lanie Jr. College. Erma worked as civil service for the United States government for seventeen years. She received the outstanding award and was involved in veterans affairs. She enjoyed going to Cripple Creek, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Isiah Dixon; parents, Lydia and Leroy; sister, Ether Center; brother-in-law, Robert Edge; and niece, Claudette Center.She is survived by her sons, Troy (Sara) Davidson of Orlando, Florida, and Edward (Rhonda) Davidson of Colorado Springs; sisters, Trudy Turner of Los Angeles, California, and Christeena Edge of Colorado Springs; many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.Memorial contributions in Erma's memory may be made to Colorado Children's Hospital, 4090 Briargate Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80920. https://www.childrenscolorado.org/community/support-childrens-colorado/make-a-financial-donation/The family wishes to extend their gratitude to The Springs Funeral Services.A private Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, March 19, 2021.
