I had the pleasure of handing the reigns to B/4-5 ADA (Bounty Hunters) to Tristan back in 2002. What a great American, family man and Soldier. Rest easy brother!

I went to school with Tristan in Palmerston North, New Zealand, and we remained friends for 30+ years until his untimely passing. He will be sorely missed by those of us in NZ who knew and loved him. Our thoughts are with Tabatha and girls, Chelene, Chris and Siobhan as we share your grief. His New Zealand friends will also gather to share memories of Tristan and raise a glass in his honour. R.I.P my friend

We were best buddies from about the age of 10 and until Tristan returned to the US from New Zealand permanently, we were inseparable. It was the kind of friendship you read about in novels. I can't remember an argument, we were completely honest with each other and we could say anything. With Tristan, I learned about trust, what it means to have someone you can depend on, and how to live without ever being alone. I've carried this sense with me every day and it just broke my heart to have lost him so soon. I'm so sorry Tabby, Alianna, Arwyn, Chelene, Chris and Siobhan, this is not the plan we had, and we had lots of plans. Please come to NZ when you can Tabby, we'll tell you some stories, cry a lot and remember this great man.
