As a retired AF officer, I typically (and respectfully) called Jud " Chief" when we danced together. I first met him when he was wearing a half shell in memory of his deceased wife. Was so happy when square dancing brought he and Rennie together. I still hear him saying "cha cha cha" in my mind when I think of us square and round dancing together. He will live on in many hearts.

I had the honor of knowing John most of our lives. He was funny, caring and giving. He raised three beautiful daughters who I know will miss him dearly. He strived to be the best at everything and seldom failed at anything he wanted to achieve. I'm so proud to have been a part of his life and he of mine. He made a difference.

Johnny was the greatest brother-in-law. And yes, he was most generous, but not just with money, but also in spirit.

We enjoyed square dancing with Jud & Rennie. There were always laughs to be had. Jud always had a smile on his face. During our veterans day dances, his pride in his service to his country was unmistakable and we are grateful to Jud for that service. With a giant heart and made of the right "stuff", we will miss him tremendously. Our heartfelt sympathy to the family. Mark and Tonya Gaddie
