Obituary of Sara Denise Milligan

Sara Denise Milligan, 32, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on March 25, 2021 in Aurora, Colorado. She was born to Chuck and Annette Milligan at the United States Air Force Academy base hospital. Sara went to high school at James Irwin High School and graduated in 2007. She followed up with a year of culinary training at Johnson and Wales University in Denver. She further went to earn an associates degree while living in Dallas, Texas.Sara spent time in the management track with the Panda Express restaurant chain, being a floating manager to assist stores where improvements to the staff were required or managers needed to be augmented. After a couple of years in this capacity she changed to work as a quality control secret shopper with the Quick Trip convenience store chain in the Dallas area. She would later return to Colorado Springs where she began training as a soil technician with the family business. Sara was also a Mary Kay beauty consultant during much of this time.Sara�enjoyed cooking,�yoga, painting, and spending time with her family. She also took every opportunity she could to get outdoors, including camping, hiking, and sightseeing. Sara was a loving mother, sister, and daughter, and had a sweet and gentle soul who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.Sara is survived by her daughter, Hailey; her parents; two sisters, Jennifer and Alicia; her brother, Harry; and sister-in-law, Veronica.
