Dear Jim and Roberta Ann - I am so sorry for your loss. Roberta was a dear friend and colleague when I was the librarian at Coralville Central. She was unfailingly kind and gracious, and put her whole heart into helping her students. We also shared the special bond of being PEO sisters. I remember how excited she was when Jackie was born--she just couldn't stop smiling! She will be deeply missed. - Karen Franker

Roberta and Jim have been a part of my life pretty much since I was born. My parents lived in Boxholm when I was born and Roberta was one of my first visitors. Then when I attend the U of Iowa, I was treated to many home cooked meals in the Swanson home. I can attest to her good cooking and warm hospitality. Rest In Peace wonderful Roberta. Such wonderful memories of Roberta, always in the context of her beloved family! May God comfort the family now in their loss. (The photo is from a Bloomquist / Lindahl reunion in 2002 in Quimby, IA.)
