I was seven years older than Kip, and considered him an inconvenience when he was born! Yes, I was spoiled! As time went on, I realized he was a pretty great guy. He was funny, smart (great at trivia) good looking and caring! He is SO missed. The world could use more Kips! Thank you Dorothy for loving him so much

I will always have fond memories of spending time with my Great Uncle Kip. From our family trips to Colorado from New York throughout my childhood to the early years of my Air Force career where I was fortunate enough to be stationed in Colorado Springs. I was able to spend time with Kip, Dorothy, Scott, Rick, and their families, taking away any potential of being homesick at my first duty station. Kip loved attending sporting event. Kip and Dorothy always had season tickets to attend the United States Air Force Academy Football games and you could always find them tailgating in the parking lot hours before each game. I doubt there was ever a person that didn't want to be around Kip. He had an infectious laugh and smile and made everyone feel blessed in his presence. He will be missed by many but will always be in our hearts. He is watching over us now. We wish Dorothy and the rest of the family peace in his passing. We love you all and will keep you in our prayers.

Pat, Kip loved his sister so much, and just thought you were so special. I am proud that I am a member of the Carys and to have been by his side to the very end! He is my whole life.
