My beautiful, sweet, don't take no mess Kaylynn. Smh I have been avoiding this but I can't not say anything about how much my niece will be missed. I think back on the times when you and your cousins Michael and Chanel, always were up to no good and getting busted lol. I remember when your mother Christina and I were both on the phones and you and Chanel went to one club and Michael and the other Chanel went to another, and Mike beat ya'll home first lol. You telling your mom you and Chanel were at the bowling alley lol. Christina couldn't do nothing but crack up. Smh...as sad as I am you are no longer here with us physically, I want to remember all the good. Wacky crazy times. I can go on and on with the memories we have. Oh my goodness when Cayden was born and the nurses pressed down pn Chanel's stomach and you said "dang girl your stomach looks luje a burnt pancake!" ROTFLMBO!! I love you always and forever my fiesty Kaylynn. Thank you for loving me and your cousins. Kiss my daddy for me, I know he was waiting for you with open arms at those pearly gates of heaven. Rest in Paradise until we meet again.

Kaylynn was more like a sister to us than a cousin. Growing up together there are so many memories making it hard to pick just one. If I had to choose it would be the time I found out I was pregnant.....she's jumping up and down with joy shouting " Oh my god!" Over and over meanwhile I'm in tears saying my mom is going to kill me! lol then she says "girl stop you know I'm here for you all the way and besides you promised me that you were taking me to see my husband tonight and we're going to have a blast!".....for everyone who knows Kaylynn then you know that when she says husband she means Lil Wayne! Lol and we went and had a blast. She danced the entire time and new every word to every song. Then to end the night she says " you know I've officially taken my little niece or nephew to their first Lil Wayne concert right?! I'm officially the world's best aunty!" Lol. Oh what a life that was taken. I'm going to miss you so much. Everything that I have gone through you were always by my side no matter what including my transition out of the Air Force, moving back home, my entire pregnancy, and the birth of my son. Thank you for that and all the memories. Tell granddad I said hello. I love you girl!

So grateful for the time we got to share together. Whenever she walked into the room her unique spirit would take over. She was always saying exactly what was on her mind. Her joy and kindness will be missed by Sophia and I. John 14:3. Now she knows more about Heaven then we all do.

I have so many memories, it's hard to pick just one. She was a girl after my own heart with a big personality and always made me laugh so hard it hurt. I can't give you all the details and anybody who reads this that was over my house that evening remembers, Megan Nikkie and Kaylynn and the blue stuff that I sat in all over the bathroom after one of Kaylynn brilliant ideas.

Kaylynn and her family came to live with me a couple times during her childhood. She always owned my heart. She told me, "Grandma, I don't know why but people at airports are going to point to me and say that's Kaylynn. When she attended school here, she was the only black girl but it made no difference. Within the first month, she was chosen by her classmates to be the Sunshine Kid. She brought fun pictures of her for the bulletin board and they had a luncheon for her. I came to the school on her special lunch day and took a picture of her with her best friend. She always made friends wherever she went. She had spunk. I remember the time we were in Colorado Springs and she was about three years old. I would ask her what different things cost and she always answered 7 dollar. Houses, clothing, some little trinket, a piece of paper -- the answer was the same. $7 dollar! We were all laughing so hard and she knew she had the whole room at her command. What a special little girl. I don't know if you knew it but God called her to preach. We had read about Samuel and how God called his name and he was told to say, "Yes Lord." (I told her KayKay, if you hear the Lord call your name, answer by saying "Yes Lord.") It was about a week later and our lunch time and we were all washed up and sitting at the table ready to eat and something changed in the atmosphere in the room. We sat quietly. When I looked over, I saw KayKay's eyes shut but fluttering and she was talking but I didn't hear her. Afterwards, we asked what happened? She said God wants me to preach his Word. I always thought she would end up preaching. I thought this is why the people will know her name at the airports.
