Obituary of MSgt Gregory William Steffers, USAF,
On May 27, 2021, Gregory W. Steffers, loving father, husband, and son died at the age of 46 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Greg was born February 6, 1975 in Omaha, Nebraska to Susan and Fredrick Steffers.After graduating from Sierra High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he went to college in Lincoln, Nebraska. He then joined the Air Force in April of 1997 where he proudly served his country in Iraq and Afghanistan. He retired on April 8, 2021 at the rank of Master Sergeant.The best of Greg is left behind in his son and daughter, Mason (20) and Ashley (15). He was a loving father that loved getting his children involved in sports. He was a cheer dad for his daughter and baseball coach for his son. He loved nothing more than to watch them perform.Greg is preceded in death by his mother, Susan L.
