Obituary of Melziner Austin

Melziner Austin was born August 14, 1951 in Winona, Mississippi. She is survived by three sisters, Dorthey Jean Forest of Colorado Springs, Laura Hammond of Colorado Springs, and Alice Faye Randle of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by her three children, Michele Cellars of Warner Robins, Georgia, Shelia Motton of Colorado Springs, and James Austin of Colorado Springs. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Melziner lived in Colorado for many years, and cooking was her passion. She was a head chef at countless nursing homes and assisted living communities. She loved to dance, listen to music, watch her soap operas, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Melziner is preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Christian; stepfather, Cisero Christian; sister, Mae Frances Bumpas; and her son-in-law, Ronald Cellars. It has come to the time that you can now spread your wings and begin your new journey.
