I first met Bobby in Kindergarten at Lowell - we were friends all through South Jr and Palmer. I'm so grateful that we reconnected a couple of years ago - he made me laugh and shared his memories of our school days. Although I hadn't seen him since high school, our friendship rekindled to a very special place. Rest in peace, Bobby, I'm so happy you'll be with Susan again. Oh, and if you see Mrs. Colvin, give her a swift kick in the patootie for me.

I am Roberts daughter n law. Bob was intelligent, funny. Never argue with him because he was always right. He loved to play his guitar, read, loved family get togethers, loved his kids, grandkids, his pets, and most of all Facebook. I took care of him for years. Helping with grocery shopping, going to the doctor. On holidays I took him a home cooked meal and he loved that so much. He also loved my baked goods. His sister Joanie started to help him when my health declined. My son and I are the ones who found him. I am sending love and prayers to Bob's family and friends.

You were intelligent, funny, off the wall, over the top, and even - occasionally - understated. I wish I could have met you in person, but Facebook was our only venue. You and I talked of things that I talked with No One Else about and I was grateful that you listened and understood. I am glad you are with Susan again, but sad about the empty space on my Facebook page. I think you tried to post the other day and for the first time ever there was actually an empty space on my feed. Rest in Peace, Bob. You will be missed.

I remember your father and grandfather as a classmate of mine at Palmer High School. I didn't realize until today that he was one of a rare group-a native Colorado Springs "ite". I remember when we all used to go skating on Junior High nights, seems like only a short time ago. I'm sorry for your loss. My prayer is that God bless you all and send His peace. Sincerely, Judy Bontrager Beeson
