Obituary of Barbara Leslie Brown

Barbara Leslie Brown, age 87, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away August 1, 2021 in Colorado Springs. � She was born July 3, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.� Barbara spent most of her life as a homemaker and cared for all her family. She enjoyed reading and knitting as some of her favorite�hobbies.�She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Q. Brown; her parents, Beatrice and Edgar DeLaney; and her brother, John Edgar DeLaney.�Barbara is survived by her three daughters, Leslie Mildenberger, Cynthia Brown, and Jennifer Brown; as well as her four grandchildren, Scott Mildenberger, Hannah Mildenberger, Sakic Smith, and Gavin Smith; and finally her nieces, Amy Turner, and Cynthia Kinsella; and her nephew, John Robert DeLaney.� Memorial Contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to the Santa Fe Opera (santafeopera.org/). The opera was one of her biggest passions in life.� No services are planned.
