Obituary of Robert "Bob" Lee Aguilar

Robert "Bob" Lee Aguilar, age 74 of Colorado Springs, Colorado entered peacefully into Heaven's Gates August 4, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. �Bob graduated from Tennyson High School in Hayward, California in 1966, and proudly enlisted in the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. Many residents in the area were fortunate to have met Bob, having owned Aguilar's Painting for over thirty-five years, wherein they recognized he left his imprint on this City as he was a very genuine, gentle and sweet man. Besides being exceedingly devoted to his family, loving to spend time with his grandchildren, traveling and vacationing with them and close friends. He was extremely involved in his church, first with Fremont Community Church in Fremont, California, and upon residing in Colorado, Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs, leading Bible Study for over twenty-nine years. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ with his whole heart and would want us to remember him this way-that he was fully devoted to Jesus, and was not afraid to tell people about Him.He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco "Frank" Ramon Aguilar; mother, Carmen Ces�na; maternal uncle, Larry Dias; and paternal uncles, Joseph Aguilar, Sabino Aguilar, and Samuel Aguilar; and his brother, Frank "Frankie", Jr. Bob is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Jennifer Aguilar (nee Griffin) of Colorado Springs; son, Vincent Aguilar; daughter, Lindy Aguilar; grandchildren, Janessa Watkins, Kaylee Aguilar, Shawn Watkins, Jr., Mia Sapp, and Ariel Aguilar; daughter-in-law, Lori Aguilar (step-grandsons, Ryan Rathbun, Stephen Rathbun); sister, Barbara Aguilar; brother-in-law, Jay (Sharry) Griffin; sisters-in-law, Tari (Tom) Dec, and Cynthia Simon.
