He was an avid swimmer that loved the water. Andrew had a sharp wit, which combined with side eye and crooked smile, was both charming and hilarious. He graduated from Judge Memorial High School, obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado. Andrew then obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Denver University Law School. Friends of Andrew knew him as a passionate adventurer that loved camping, riding his motorcycle and anything that would get him outside. He was eager to learn and teach those around him, never missing an opportunity to be a mentor. Andrew spent the majority of his adult life being dedicated to seeking justice on behalf of the public, as he had graduated from a police academy in Colorado prior to pursuing his law degree. He quickly became a respected and formidable trial attorney that defendants didn't want to see on the other side of the courtroom. Everyone close to Andrew knew that they could count on him with whatever was needed, a wise word, a helping hand or even a joke to make you laugh. Andrew had previously expressed his desire that no formal service be held.
