Susan will be missed. My condolences to her family. Although I have not had a lot of contact with Susan since she relocated to the North office with Bob McAdams a few years back, I will always remember her fondly. She was warm and welcoming to me when I first began my position as receptionist for First Command. I'll never forget her opening words to me, "So, what's your story?"...That memory brings a smile to my face. God bless you all, Kathryn Hazard

Todd and children, I am sorry to hear about Susan's death. I know she will be dearly missed. We had 6 months of growing up together in a small house and those memories will always be with me. And I know she talked to me about how much they appreciated Mom taking them in while Helmuth healed. I pray God's comfort for your family knowing that she is now healthy and happy. Judy Seibert.

I well remember Sept 13, 1986, the day Todd and Susan married. It was the day I gained another sister in law who, through the years, became a dear friend and confidant. Though we always lived far apart from each other because of Todd's military service and eventual retirement to live in the shadow of the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, that never got in the way of our friendship and love for one another. We shared a deep and abiding faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and love for both our immediate and extended family. She and I both felt honored and privileged to be members of the Boesdorfer Clan (in spite of the fact that it's a hard name to spell and even harder name to pronounce!) Family vacations were always a joy and we created wonderful memories that are cherished to this day by all our children. She faced death with confident faith in her salvation through Jesus Christ. She never wavered in her confidence that Jesus has, indeed, prepared a place for her in heaven (John 14:2). She moved through the dying process with grace and dignity, and I considered it a special privilege to care for her during the last two months of her life. I will miss her terribly. Vickie Boesdorfer

I was Susan's hairstylist. I admired her strength and love for others. No matter what she was going through, she always wanted to know what was going on in my life big or small. I will miss our time together. To her family and friends, I am sorry for your loss. I will pray that you find peace and comfort in the memories you shared with Susan.
