Obituary of Janice Dorcie Eileen Tamlin

Janice Dorcie Eileen Tamlin was born March 17, 1938, the daughter of Bob and Dorcie (Dunn) Tamlin. Bob later married Malone Tamlin and she became Janice's other mother.When Janice was born, her dad wanted to name her Dorine and her mother wanted Janice. They named her Dorcie Eileen Tamlin. When her parents passed away, she added Janice to her name to become Janice Dorcie Eileen Tamlin.Janice married at 16 years old to Dale Landrum. They had two sons Galen and Michael. Dale died May 22, 1998. Janice had also been married to Lee Wilson who died on September 10, 1998 and to John Allen Roach. Janice had grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also known as the "candy grandma" where she lived because she gave all the neighbor kids candy. She loved all the kids. She also loved animals. She had a horse, and the brothers all lead her around every day on Dandy. She had Labradors, one a service dog; her cockers, her therapy dog, and Kelly. She raised poodles, cockers, and collies. Janice had a number of friends and they would frequently get together for lunch. She enjoyed helping with the family reunions from about 1998 to 2012. They were fun and hard work, but she enjoyed them all the same. Janice was preceded in death by her husbands; and her son, Galen.
