Obituary of Calleen Jane O'Donnell

Calleen Jane O'Donnell went home to Jesus on August 24, 2021, at the age of 63, after a 1.5 year-long battle with ovarian cancer.She was born to Marilyn MacDonald, and John O'Donnell on November 5, 1957, in Bozeman, Montana. She was the youngest of five siblings: Cheri (Bill Clawson, deceased), Cathy (Dennis Martin), Cindy (Don Scharenberg) and brother, Steven O�Donnell (deceased).She is survived by husband, Scott Freyler, and three children, Aaryn Freyler (Tyler Boomsma), Kirstyn Freyler (Justin Pearson), Benjamin Witter (Lindsay Witter), her three grandchildren, Kilynn and Jackson Pearson, and Braedyn Priebe (Freyler), and her three sisters, Cheri Clawson, Cathy Martin, and Cindy Sharenberg. Preceded�in death by daughter Brynn Freyler.Cally was a loving wife, mother, and Mima. If asked to describe herself she would always say the same three answers, she was a "survivor", she was a "warrior", and she was a "child of God".Cally's tenacity, unwavering faith, and drive gained much success as an Allstate agency owner of sixteen years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and hobbies that included GLAMping, traveling the world, and collecting wine�. lots, and lots of wine. She was a dedicated Christ-follower and did daily devotionals and bible study each morning before starting her day. Cally used this time to reflect on her life, family, and blessings, she would journal each day of which she planned to use to one day write her book.In honor of her love and commitment to our father God, I include this quote, bookmarked in one of her devotions- "' as the Lord lives and as you live, I won't leave you. When the road is long and treacherous and the path is unclear, how well am I going to stay the course? Yes Lord, give me the strength and faith to come to you in each circumstance, fully give it all to you Lord."Often, we'd hear her tell us "Our time here on earth is temporary", there is no doubt Cally knew where she was going, and with that we have peace, she is home.Please join the family, as we celebrate Cally's life on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at One o'clock P.M., at New Life Church World Prayer Center, 11005 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80921.
