Obituary of Molly Lee MacKillican

Molly MacKillican, 63, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, resided in Guthrie, Oklahoma with her partner, Thomas Abbot. Molly passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs on August, 25 2021, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She grew up in Oxon Hill, Maryland, with a large family. She had an entrepreneurial spirit and had a passion for working with survivors of domestic violence and those who found themselves homeless.�Molly loved being outdoors, in her younger years she loved camping around Flint Ridge Oklahoma with her children and siblings and later enjoyed hiking and playing with her grandchildren. She took pride in all her accomplishments but took the most pride in her children, especially her grandchildren, Khalil, Bella, and Lhira. Molly will be dearly missed and always remembered.Molly was preceded in death by her father, G. Donald MacKillican; and mother, Catherine MacKillican; her brother, Donald MacKillican; and daughter-in-law, Christine Savory.She is survived by her sisters, Sharon Frye and Jenise Engel; her bother, Jim MacKillican (George Smith); as well as her children, Justin Blush (Aireen Blush), Raven Savory (Noah Holzwarth), Logan Savory, and Ryan Savory.The family has requested a Celebration of Life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Molly's loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at 10:00AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909. Masks/facial coverings are required for those attending the Celebration of Life.A gathering will take place after the Celebration of Life at Bear Creek Park, Pavilion #1, off of South 21st Street and Argus Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906.
