I didn't know Jeremy but I know his brother Dave well. I am so deeply sorry for the Fuerst family's loss and for all who loved Jeremy - and it's clear there were many who loved him. It is abundantly clear that Pastor Jeremy lived abundantly, loved abundantly, and touched countless lives. My prayers go out for all who mourn his loss.

My prayers continue for strength for you. Our entire family knows & loves you all: Pastor Larry (passed 4.29.05) and the children Rebekka, Rachel, Mariah & Mikah. All knew or worked with Jeremy through The Lutheran Center, Camp CJH, Seminary and hiking or socializing. I was SO VERY happy when you found one another & married March 1, 2014 !!! May God Be With You All during the grief, memories & healing. We send our love and continual thoughts. ❤️ Sincerely, Carol Meyer

Pastor Jeremy married us 6 years ago. He was always funny and told great stories while teaching us what to expect during our pre-marriage counseling. Even during the wedding he cracked a few jokes that the crowd loved. Even years later he would message us to tell us how happy he was too be apart of our wedding day and to let him know if we needed anything. Truly a man who loved what what he did. He was a great man and will be missed by many.

Rhonda and I lived with Jeremy in Augustine Hall at Midland Lutheran College. We shared many fun and goofy moments. As pastors ourselves, we feel a deep sense of loss for the church to lose a gifted and spirited pastor. Our prayers and hearts go out to Jeremy's family, friends, and congregation.

Dave and family. What a shock! Ruth and I keep you and your family as well as Jeremy's family in our prayers. We rejoice that Jeremy knew the Lord, his Savior, and that he now rests in the arms of Jesus. May God grant your strength, comfort and peace in that knowledge

Although Shannyn has been our pastor for the past five years, just this past year the Faith community was able to get to know Pastor Jeremy, as we joined together with Central Lutheran church in Zoom worship. It was fun to see how Shannyn and Jeremy complemented each other in ministry, as well as get an in-person view of his humor and personality. I had the added benefit of being in the the same Buy Nothing group as Jeremy and Shannyn, and would look forward to his hilarious posts. Our whole Buy Nothing community would respond with joy at his kind offers to help people dig out of their driveways during a snow storm, and his absolutely hilarious posts of items he wanted to "rehome". Sometimes someone would even ask for the bizarre thing he was trying to give away (Samuri swords, an old green couch with a back story, microwave, and plunger)! Jeremy will be missed by so many people that he has touched in his life. Our love to Shannyn and his family.
