Joe was such a wonderful and loving husband to Diane, our daughter, sister and aunt. Everything they did together -- from their shared passions (Disney, camping and so much more), their adoption of Zoe, and even their move across the country to Colorado -- seemed rooted in their love for one another. And this deep love spilled over to our family as well, as Joe generously and selflessly spent countless hours with Diane's mother, not only driving her to appointments and helping her with errands, but by being present and patient and helping her adjust to her new life after her husband, Diane's father, passed away. Our hearts ache for Diane. And while his passing has left a hole that can never be filled, hopefully there is some small comfort in the knowledge that, after such a long battle this last year, he can finally rest easy. Joe, you will be deeply missed. Love, the Costa Family

We have so many happy memories of our time with Joe. Of him taking us camping and teaching us how to set up a campsite and ride ATV's. Of going to Disneyland and him finding countless opportunities to crack a joke and make us all laugh. Of him giving the biggest bear hugs to the kids. We're grateful for the time we had with him and that he's at peace now. He was an amazing father, grandfather, mentor, friend, and he's missed by us all more than words can express. We love you forever Joe.

It was a honor being his Daughter N Law. I will always remember the love of Disneyland and going to the park. Joe would be ready to capture a great moment with his camera. Thank you for all the adventures and great memories! My family and I will miss you dearly Joe! With lots of "Stinking Love," Yvonne Sidner

I met both Joe and Diane Garcia in the summer of 1992. Through their kids I became to know them well. They immediately included me as one of their own. As I became to know the family I experienced my first lesson of love. Joe and Diane adored one another. They set a blue print of what love should look like. Joe and Diane came to my aid selflessly within the beginning of my adult years. I will always have fond memories of my young life and the experiences and knowledge that I acquired through Joseph and Diane Garcia about life and morals. Thank you for being a positive life lesson to me. I'm forever grateful
