Obituary of Andrea "Andy" Lynn Gravelin
Andrea "Andy" Lynn Gravelin, 46, of Widefield, Colorado passed away suddenly at her home on Monday September 20, 2021 with her family by her side. Andy was born March 1, 1975 to Ron and Alice Gravelin in El Paso, Texas. They later moved to Security when her father became stationed at Fort Carson Army Base until his retirement. She went to school at North Elementary, and Sproul Junior High in District 3, finally graduating Widefield High School in 1993. One of the things Andrea was the proudest of, was being the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran. Her father Ron was always her hero. From there the true story of her life began. First and foremost, she became a mother. Her kids and her family were her life. To her it was always family first. She lived a full life and will leave such a large hole that can never be filled in the life of anyone she touched. She worked in a variety of things from traveling with the carnival, to inventory clerk, to a US Soccer Foundation sanctioned referee for a former youth Soccer program. Her final years were spent doing what she treasured most, taking care of her family. She met David Bullman when they were just children, as they grew up across the street from each other, where their parents still live to this day. Andy and David had so many pieces to their lives together, and this was just one of the many things that would lead from a friendship, to becoming the love of each other's lives in the final chapter of their story together. Andrea and David would be celebrating thirteen years together this next January as husband and wife, and forty three years of friendship. In August 2019, Andrea became a grandma (Mee-Maw) and started her legacy anew. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life. Andy and David, spent their best days watching their family grow and becoming more amazed every day because of how special their children were, and how far they were going in this world. The family she leaves behind will never be the same without her there to wrap her arms around it and hug them all close.Andrea is preceded in death by her mother, Alice; brother, William, and her grandmother, Dotie. Andrea is survived by her father, Ron; brothers, Tim and Richard; husband, David Bullman, her children, Brittany Moore (27) (father-Kurt Moore Jr.) and her significant other Matthew Barela, Kathryn Smith (26) (father-Kurt Moore Jr.) and her husband Jordan, Kyle Gravelin (19), Tara Vogt (18) (father-Greg Vogt), and finally Heather Bullman (10); her three grandchildren, Elisha Smith (2), Nylah Smith (2 months), and Isabella Barela (1.5 months), her niece, Allison (19) (father-Richard Gravelin); and so very many other friends, family, and adopted family. The family of Andrea wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to all those that have reached out and/or helped thru this devastating time.
