Obituary of Connie Mae Dutchak
Connie Mae Dutchak went to her Heavenly Home September 23, 2021. (Born Connie Mae Williams) July 1, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. Married Richard Dutchak Sr, who passed away in Colorado Springs October 2018. Moved to Orange County California in 1985 and made a life there for over two Decades. She worked as a waitress at Katella Deli where she made many friends that she loved and that loved her. The time came she had to retire from working so hard, she moved to Colorado Springs with her son, Richard Dutchak, Jr.; her husband and grandson. There she lived out the rest of her days in peaceful retirement, cooking and enjoying being with her immediate family she loved so much and that loved her. Connie was preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers, Ronnie and Earl Williams; and husband, Richard Dutchak, Sr. (All of whom she loved dearly.) Connie is survived by her son, Richard Dutchak Jr.; grandson, Anthony Dutchak; and granddaughter, Natalie Mae Dutchak; as well as her nephews, nieces, and friends. Please read below some additional thoughts and memories about Connie.Connie Mae DutchakThere are no words to adequately describe the inner strength and character, the beauty and the heart of my mother Connie. As sturdy as an Oak, yet soft and kind as a comforting Angel who only thinks of others. A mother, a wife, a grandmother, great-grandmother, an auntie, a daughter, a sister and a friend. Beloved by all who were lucky enough to have known her. "To know her is to love her" is not just a saying with Connie, it's a fact. Her sense of humor and her laugh were infectious. Her personality warm and inviting. Her love for those she cared for was true and unwavering.Thoughtful and wise enough to share the truth you needed to hear, but unassuming enough to just listen and be there for you if that helped make things better. Did I mention she could cook? She cooked like she lived, with love I feel her blushing and it makes me smile.Unselfish, loyal and kind is a wonderful combination that is difficult to find in most people. Yet, it is a combination of traits that best describes my mother, and a apt description of my mother's very being. Again, words cannot describe. Thankfully, words are not all that we are left with when it comes to Connie. Wonderful feelings, happy thoughts and fond memories are far too easy to let flow through her and into you if you let it.Knowing my mother I'm sure she's worried about us being sad. I already miss her like I've never missed before. I know this is my hangup and I need to be unselfish like she taught me to be. Because she's in a better place now, with loved ones who she has missed for some time. She deserves such a joyous reunion and welcoming peace. Eternal Love
