Obituary of Kerstin "Chris" Holm Edgar

Kerstin "Chris" Edgar of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Stockholm, Sweden died September 24, 2021. She was born in Stockholm on March 19,1931 and came to the United States in 1960. Chris valued family and friendships above all. She drew her strength from nature. Chris was fascinated by human behavior. She was a child advocate, a criminal investigator, an author and lifetime educator. Chris is survived by her son, Jim (Dawn) Edgar of Colorado Springs; grandsons, Christian Edgar, and Seth Edgar; stepdaughters, Christine Gehringer of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mariann Budde, of Washington, DC, and their families; along with extended family and many longtime friends. Memorial Service, 10:00AM, October 22, 2021, St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 7400 Tudor Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919. Bishop Mariann Budde will preside. Memorial contributions in Chris' memory may be made to the Nature Conservancy (nature.org/en-us/) or to a charity of the giver's choice. Interment in Sweden.
