Jarema Vladimir Dykan, 82, died September 26, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born September 8, 1939 to Iwan Hryhorowich Dykan-Bezimmenyi and Maria Andriyowa Marchuk in Ukraine. Jarema proudly served his country and was a veteran of the Korean War. He served as a sniper guarding the American Embassy in Korea. Jarema was a cartographer for the United States government. His hobbies included genealogy and puzzles, and when he was younger he collected coins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Iwan Hryhorowich Dykan-Bezimmenyi and Marian Andriyowa Marchuk; and his elder brother, Bohdan Dykan.Jarema is survived by his sister, Ulana Martha (Donald) Howard; his brother, Swiatoslan Dykan-Bezimmenyi; and his family; his cousin, Elena Tallin; and multiple nieces and nephews.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Monday, October 25, 2021, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
