Obituary of Arlene Caryl Schultz

Arlene Caryl (Hoehn) Schultz was born November 18, 1946 in Williston, North Dakota to Harold and Ruth (Grimson) Hoehn.She attended school in Ray, North Dakota and graduated in 1964 as the class Valedictorian.Upon graduation Arlene attended Dakota Business College in Fargo, North Dakota and earned a business degree. She was then employed in Fargo and also in Ray at Ray Lumber.Arlene was united in marriage to William Schultz on July 24, 1971. They made their home in Colorado Springs where she worked at Williams Chevrolet for nineteen years. They then moved to Austin, Texas where she worked as an office manager at a car dealership. They returned to Colorado Springs and she worked at Liberty Toyota for nineteen years before retiring.Arlene was a cat lover and always spoiled them with treats and special meals. She was a very organized person and when she made her meals they were very delicious and there was always plenty to put in the freezer. She prided herself on her beautiful flowers and would be on the riding mower for hours on end.Arlene always remembered family and friends with a birthday card, anniversary card, valentine or a special phone call.She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church where she was active in church activities. She was also a member of the Elks, Eagles and enjoyed her water exercise classes.Arlene was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother, father, cousins, Dean Grimson and Geraldine Cogdill, special aunt Ardith Hoehn and several aunts and uncles.She is survived by her husband, William Schultz; aunt Delores Grimson and several cousins.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Saturday, October 9, 2021, Ascension Lutheran Church, 2505 North Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
