I met Carl through the Peterson AFB aquatherapygroup he shared leadership duties with. He was a prince of a man and will be remembered. Whenever we met, regardless of what was happening in his life, he invariable would ask how my failing was was feelin.

I started Aquatic Aerobitics in 2012 as part of my rehabilitation after Achilles' tendon surgery. Carl was the instructor and always reminded us not to over do it as a new member of the class. He was a Prince of a person. Always cheerful and would inquire about my healing status after several surgeries as well as my wife's progress after cancer surgery. Great people may not always make a splash in the paper, instead a great person silently enters our heart and mind. Carl was such a person. He will be greatly missed, but never far from our hearts.

Carl was such a wonderful man. Ever since I met him at the pool, I have always enjoyed his leading us in the pool exercises and chatting with him while sitting in the hottub. Carl was so so sweet and kind to everyone. Rest in peace , my friend. Susan England omaengland@gmail.com

It was always fun to go to the pool at Peterson and do Water Aerobics with friends. Carl led half the class time and made our time fun. He was so dedicated he would even teach from the sidelines. He was funny and kind. He made the cold water fun to be in. He will be missed. I pray for his family.
