Obituary of Peggy Jo Lurvey

Peggy Jo Lurvey, 83, of Peyton, Colorado, died October 3, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born December 17, 1937 to Balfour and Jessie (McMillen) Frost in Lucas, Kansas. Peggy attended Colorado Springs High School and graduated in 1955. She worked in nutrition services at Penrose Hospital for over 25 years. Peggy enjoyed crocheting, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Peggy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lurvey Sr.; her sons, Charles Jr., and Michael Lurvey; her parents, Balfur and Jessie Frost; her brother, Jerry; and her sisters, Rachel and Verta. Peggy is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Cash of Peyton, Colorado, Nylene (Gene) Johnson of Hugoton, Kansas, and Pamela Lurvey of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her grandchildren, Myrandi Fletcher, Trisha (Brett) Vaughn, Stephanie (Adrian) Henderson, Robert (Tracy) Johnson, Jason (Montana) Johnson, and Shawn Johnson; her great-grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Jessie, Jayden, Josh Jr., Emily, Charlotte, Rosanna, Lillyan, Hadleigh, Madeleine, Kaden, and Caitlyn; and her brothers, Jack and Charles Frost.
