Obituary of Phillip Timothy Gonzales

Phillip Timothy Gonzales, 63, died on October 12, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born August 31, 1958 to David and Laura (Chacon) Gonzales in Pueblo, Colorado.From Ruby:Phil and I were together for twenty six years which was the best thing to happen to me and my children. He accepted my three kids and that was one of the many reasons that I loved him! We bought our house together, and through the years he worked hard on it and today he has left me a beautiful home. I will always be grateful to Phil and will miss all the times we had together. On the weekends, he would bring me coffee in bed and would cook dinner for us. Phil was a great cook. He always surprised the kids with pancakes, making sure they ate! I will miss us sitting out on the deck listening to music and having a beer. We would watch Fox News and discuss the events of the world! We shared many special times together and he will always be in my heart!Phil's son Joseph, and granddaughter Angelina, meant the world to him, as did all his family! He valued family and hard work, he had a strong work ethic and was dependable! The loss of my love is indescribable, words will never express how much I will miss him! Phil is loved by so many and will be missed forever!Phil is preceded in death by his father, David Gonzales; and his brother, Matthew Gonzales.He is survived by his companion, Ruby Nombrano; his sons, Joseph Lucero of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jesse Nombrano of Fort Collins, Colorado; his daughters, Desiree (Kurtis) Pittman of Pueblo, Colorado, and Shaylene Nombrano of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his brothers, David (Betty Franco) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mark (Christy) of Lakewood, Colorado, James, Benjamin (Sally), and Steven (Peggy) Gonzales of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his mom, Laura Gonzales Of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his five grandchildren.
