I met Tricia when we lived in Germany. I remember watching her and John with Michaela and her big brown baby eyes smiling at everyone in church, cutest little family. I was a preteen and loved to sit behind them in church. It was cool to reconnect here in Colorado Springs years later. Tricia was kind, thoughtful, and spunky. I'll forever be grateful for the wonderful bridal shower she hosted in her home for me. I have such fun hilarious memories from it especially the toilet paper wedding dress game. I have always enjoyed hearing her talk and share stories about her grandbabies, family, and faith. I love her accent. I will miss automatically applying it in my head as I'd read her facebook posts. As her sickness progressed and challenges with health and life piled on, I was always amazed how she handled them. She wasn't one to draw a lot of attention to her suffering. Her faith and her cheeky sense of humor inspired me, that despite pain she would find things to smile or joke about. Tricia is loved and missed and I'm very grateful to have known her.
