Obituary of Rosemary Tafoya

Rosemary Tafoya, of Colorado Springs, was born July 22, 1946, to Henry Lawrence Tafoya and Mary Edgell. She entered eternal life on October 21, 2021, at her home. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary; father, Henry; brothers, Peewee, Gilbert, Rudy, Ted Tafoya; and daughter, Laurie Trujillo - Martinez. She was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado where she attended Cosmetology School to become a Barber. Rosemary was a devoted mother. Momma Rose was the best mother any of us children could have ever asked for. She is survived by her children, Victoria Trujillo, Eugene (Wanda) Trujillo, Raymond (Sherry) Trujillo, Brenda (BenJo) Trujillo, Emilio (April) Trujillo; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Cecelia Romero; multiple nieces and nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. Momma Rose's door was always open for anyone to come in and talk with her about life, or anything that they had going on in their life. No matter who you were; you were welcome. There was always a meal on the table, a warm bed, and a hot shower if needed. Momma Rose always had the best advice, and if not the best ears to listen, and warmest shoulder to cry on. The impression she left behind was truly one of a kind. Momma Rose was one whom spoke her mind and told it like it was - like it or not!
