Obituary of Joel Jay Rubinstein

Joel Jay Rubinstein, 75, of Colorado Springs passed away October 26, 2021. He was born October 30, 1945, to Moses and Lillian Rubinstein in the Bronx, New York. He went to Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn, New York and went on to earn an MBA from Pace University in New York City.Joel loved spending time with friends and family, talking about cars and smoking cigars. He was an outgoing, warmhearted man who touched the lives of many people with his kindness and love of others. He had a unique outlook and talked to everyone, no one was a stranger. He leaves a big hole in our hearts and will be greatly missed.He is preceded in death by his parents, Moses Rubinstein and Lillian Gruner Rubinstein. Joel is survived by his wife, Diana Lynn Jacobson; his son, Kenneth David Rubinstein; and his brother, Irvin Rubinstein.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joel's memory may be made to the American Heart Association (Heart.org) and the American Diabetes Association (Diabetes.org).Memorial Service, 3:00PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.Mask/facial coverings required to attend.The Service will be streamed live.
