Obituary of Hazel Esther Whaley

Hazel Esther Whaley passed away on October 29, 2021. She was born in Sundance, Wyoming July 4, 1946, to Verna Jean and Percy Carmon Huckins. Hazel eventually found her passion as a certified nursing assistant in Rock Springs, Wyoming until she was unable to continue working.She is preceded in death by both her parents; three sisters, Norma, Nancy, and Karen; and two brothers, Gary, and Don. She is survived by her children, Ronald McNutt, Lavonne Townsend, Dee McNutt, Lorraine Irvine, James McKnight, Corinne Kaml, and Joshua Fall; as well as her five brothers, Marty, Lester, J.C., Wesley, and Leon.She was loved by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to The Springs Funeral Services, The Palisades at Broadmoor Park, Adobe Hospice, and PACE for their care and friendship at the end of Hazel's life.
