Obituary of Jacque Lynn Lindsay
Jacque Lynn Lindsay passed this November 1, 2021 with her children at her side in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born December 19, 1951 to Jack and Elizabeth Gabbert, in Phoenix, Arizona. Jacque attended Alhambra High school, graduating in 1969. After leaving Arizona in 1985, Jacque and her family relocated to the Colorado Springs area. She found her passion in helping raise the children of her community. As a substitute teacher for District 11, "Mrs. Lindsay" was frequently spotted by her pupils throughout town. After leaving teaching "Ms. Jacque" continued caring for the young by running her own daycare for the next 30 years. A life long Christian, Jacque attended Circle Drive Baptist or New Life Church almost every Sunday. Aunt to eight nieces and nephews. Sister to Karen, who preceded her in death. Jacque is survived by her brother, Ken Gabbert of New Jersey. Loving mother to Jeffery, Elizabeth, and Jonathan. And proud Grandmother to Christopher, Joshua, Ashlyn, and Brianna. Those who loved her are invited to attend a Celebration of her Life at 11:00AM, Monday, November 8, 2021, at Redemption Hill Church, 124 Delaware Drive Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.Inurnment, Monument Cemetery, 800 Beacon Lite Road Monument, Colorado 80132. In lieu of donations or flowers, Jacque requests that you find and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. "So that I may one day see you again."
