Obituary of Robin Lynne Day
Robin Day, a long-term resident of Colorado Springs, passed away November 6, 2021, after a lengthy battle with multiple medical conditions. She was a local business owner, having several different businesses. She owned a successful travel company, Destiny Travel. Additionally, she owned Day Enterprises and was a bookkeeper and tax preparer. As a tax preparer, she had many loyal clients who she worked diligently to ensure their taxes were as low as possible and often did low cost or pro bono tax preparation for clients. Robin's passion was operating an arts and craft business with her family. She took great joy in teaching ceramic painting to her daughters, grandchildren and others wishing to learn the craft.She loved animals and rescued dozens of cats, dogs, and many other small creatures. Robin was always on the lookout for animals in distress and would do everything in her power to ensure she helped them in any way she could. Her closest animal companions, Danail (dog) Sissy (cat), Sierra (dog), and Kia (dog) are sure to be waiting for her to arrive. Sephia (dog), Max (dog), Harley (dog), Mandy (dog) and Paws (cat) will miss her daily. Robin was the daughter of Mildred Whitsitt-Ferguson, who survives, and Lundy Ferguson, who preceded her in passing. She was married to her best friend, Jerald Day, for twenty-seven years, who survives her. She was the mother of two biological children, Mark D. Reeves, and Cassie R. Ramon (Josie), who survives her. She was the mother of two adopted daughters, Janine Navaro-Johnson, and Shelley Ford, who survives her. She is also survived by her greatest joys, her grandchildren, Javier, Makayla, Micheal, and Cody.
