Obituary of Joy Marie Atencio

Joy Marie Atencio, 21, went to heaven November 14, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.�She was born June 1, 2000 in Alamosa, Colorado to Patrick "Kevin" Charles and Carla Marie (Casanova) Atencio.�Joy is survived by her parents, Patrick and Carla Atencio; sisters, Monique (Matthew) Drebes, AmyJo Atencio, Viana Atencio, Ruth Atencio, and Rose Atencio; and brothers, Zackariah Atencio, Cameron Atencio, and Carlos Atencio. She also had two nieces, Alayna and Amiliana Drebes, who loved her very much.Joy graduated from Sand Creek High School in 2020. She loved going to the mall, riding her bike, and going on long walks. Joy loved listening to her father read the scriptures over her.She will be missed greatly.
