Obituary of Daniel Uresti

TSgt Daniel "Danny" Uresti, United States Air Force, (Ret.) died on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at a local hospice residence. He had retired after serving his country for more than twenty years in the United States Air Force. He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend to many.Danny Uresti was born on January 31, 1941 in Victoria, Texas to the late Samuel and Felicita Uresti. He grew up in Victoria, Texas and graduated from St. Joseph High School there in 1959. Danny was a graduate of Victoria College and married Alice Sofie Valdez on March 7, 1965 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.He served in the Air Force from 1963 until his retirement. Danny was stationed in Korea, Ireland, Iceland, and Hawaii. He was a member of Divine Redeemer parish in Colorado Springs and was a devout Catholic.He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Uresti; his parents; and his brother-in-law's.Danny is survived by his twin brother, Sammy (Lilly) Uresti of Kingsville, Texas; his sisters, Lydia (David) Cardosa of Round Rock, Texas, Sylvia Sue Baccaus of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Dorney (Ben) Gonzales of Edna, Texas.
