Adolf was my neighbor when I lived in Colorado Springs on South Sierra Madre street for a few years. Everyday I was pleasantly greeted by him and we shared many great conversations and memories. He would pop over to check in on my lady and I often and we did the same for him. As I was moving away, he was always overhelping and asking if there was anything he could do. He was one of the most selfless individuals I have ever met and as I was preparing to send Christmas cards this year, I looked up his number to call to make sure his address was still the same and I found this obituary. This saddens me terribly and he sure was one of the greatest men with such a heart of gold. Adolf gave me an artificial Christmas wreath years ago and I will be hanging it in his honor this year. Forever in my heart, my dear friend, Luke Cord.
