Obituary of Karl John Anderson, U.S. Army

Karl Anderson, 47, passed away suddenly after a short Covid-19 illness. His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.Karl was born on November 17, 1974, to Jacqueline and Raymond Anderson. After completing his GED in 1994, Karl decided to join the United States Army where he served proudly in Germany and the Bosnian War.After his discharge, Karl lived in Tucson with his sister and worked as a Behavioral Heath Technician. He absolutely loved his job and sports, especially his Washington Football team. He later moved to Cripple Creek, Colorado, where he spent the last several years working as a bartender and food server. He was a loyal and soft-hearted individual. He loved his friends, co-workers, and family.Anyone who knew Karl knew that he was a special soul. He was a great artist, was quick witted and brutally honest. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say. He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Marin, and stepfather, Terence Mulligan; his father, Raymond Anderson, and stepmother, Sally Anderson; his sisters, Melissa See, and Alexis Frazier; his brothers, Christopher Rice, and Ryan Anderson. He has two nephews, Liam, and Jonah See; and three nieces, Elliana See, Gabrielle, and Margaret Rice.The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org), Karl's favorite charity.
