Obituary of Sylvan Merl Keller, Jr.

Sylvan M. Keller, Jr., 74, of Ordway, Colorado, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis M. (Kreeger) Keller.He was born in York, Pennsylvania on August 27, 1947 to the late Sylvan M. Keller, Sr. and late Helen A. (Fitz) Keller.Sylvan served in the Coast Guard from 1965 until 1969.� Following the coast guard he became a member of the IBEW union for thirty eight years until 2009.� Sylvan enjoyed kayaking, hiking, panning for gold, being in nature, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by his wife, Phyllis M. Keller; his son, Chad M. Keller and his wife, Patty Keller; his daughter, Kristina M. Danielson and her daughters, Keniya Danielson, and Jiana Danielson.�He is also survived by his sister, Sylvia Smeltzer and her husband, Roy Smeltzer.� Sylvan was preceded in death by his father, Sylvan M.
