I never, in all our conversations, thought I would be writing a tribute to you, Aaron. But thank you for being you. Thank you for being a friend, a brother, a cousin. Thank you for impacting so many lives in such a positive way. Thank you for letting us be a part of your life. I'm so sad that you're not here to hug us all through this pain. I know you are looking over everyone you loved and who loved you. You mean the world to me and I'll keep that love with me for the rest of forever. To everyone missing this big goof, I hope you all are able to find peace in this time of pain. We are all better for having known him.

To the entire Francis family and all others who knew Aaron may you find peace and guidance during these difficult times. Those who pass on before us would want us to live life as BIG as possible as if they were right beside us encouraging us on. Aaron we never met personally, but I'm a friend since high school of your mother and when she spoke of any of you boys it was with the greatest of pride and joy. She's overcome some of life's hardest but she's a strong woman and so supported by so many who know her. Sending love, healing hugs around all that knew you including your handsome son. May you rest in peace and be lifted in grace of a life lived until reunited again one day with your loving family.

Aaron was such a special young man. I first met him as an enthusiastic twelve or thirteen year old, a friend of my son Ben, when they were both members of our local middle school's football team. From the beginning he was the kind of kid who stood out. He was polite to a fault, he was kind, he was smart, and not did he love to play football! He also loved to eat, as did my boys, and when he'd come home on the bus with them after school they had a joyous time together. He called me Mom and I loved being his second mom. I recognized the honor it was and still do, because Aaron's mother is an outstanding lady whom I know and love. Aaron had great strength, both physical and of principal. He fought both for what was right for our country and for what was right for his family, never shirking his duty or turning aside from a task just because it was distasteful or personally uncomfortable. He was honorable. I will miss him so much, but I am thankful for the faith he had in the Lord Jesus Christ, which gives me great hope that I will see him in glory. I am thankful and proud to have known and loved him, and I look forward to our reunion in the Lord's presence some day.
