Obituary
Obituary of Marilyn Virginia Currie
Marilyn was called home by our Lord on December 22, 2021. She was a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on December 7, 1954 to Rudolph Raymond Rogan and Lisa Ruth (Naumann) Rogan.Marilyn attended North Jr. High School and graduated from Palmer High School in 1972. She also received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Social Work from Pikes Peak Community College in 1993.Family get-togethers were one of her favorite things to do. It was not hard to feel the love that Marilyn sent during these times. She would always reveal sincere emotions. Being a friend or making new ones was never hard for her. She was the life of the party.Other pastimes she enjoyed were listening to music, watching Dancing With the Stars, Ghost Previews, Planet Earth movies, and reality sitcoms. She was always open and ready to watch something new. If you needed help, Marilyn would go over and beyond to make your life easier. She did not want anyone to have unnecessary pain. This is why she was excellent at being a Home Healthcare Provider. Being passionate was her number one rule.Marilyn is survived by her two children, Justin Rogan and Elischa Spies; two grandchildren, Justin, Jr. and Justice; two sisters, Ramona and Carmen; numerous nieces and nephews, Raymond, Riccardo, Tanessa, Clinton, and Jazmine; a brother, Ronald; and cousin, Diane Starling. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Lisa Rogan; one brother, Riccardo Rogan; one niece, Reanna Kirven; and grandparents, Alfred and Elsa Naumann. Thanking everyone for the prayers and emotional support. Sincere appreciation for the financial support from Tanessa, Ramona, LeRoy, Lynn and Judy, Janet, Luchia, Kay, Rayshawn, Jason, Marcus, Micheal, Marilyn R., Dawayne, and Riccardo.Marilyn will be missed by all of her family and friends.
