Obituary of Edwin Lavern Sanders

Edwin Lavern Sanders went to see his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 after an extended battle with Covid. Born in Wisconsin, Edwin went on to live in many different states during his lifetime. This enabled him to enjoy a diverse lifestyle while living his life to his fullest. At the time of passing, Edwin was living in Burlington, Colorado. There he was able to enjoy the crisp mountain air and Rocky Mountains, which he found soul-enchantingly peaceful. Edwin was preceded in death by his mother, Clarice "Cookie" Sanders; and father, Edwin Sanders. Solace can be found in the knowledge that he is in the loving arms of his mother again. He is survived by his four brothers, Steven Glessing, David Glessing, Donald Glessing, and Michael Glessing; as well as his sister, Rebecca Sanders. The memory of Edwin will live on in our hearts and minds.Edwin was the loving father of one son, Andrew Sanders. He was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren. Edwin was known for his quirky personality, twinkling eyes and smile that could light a room. He thrived on the exchange of interesting and provocative ideas with friends and family. Please do not send flowers or other items of well wishes as Edwin will be directly cremated. Individuals are requested to meditate on peace and health in silent prayer.
