Obituary of Rex L. Springer

Rex L. Springer, of Colorado Springs, passed from this world on January 2, 2022. He is greeted by his parents, R. L. and Mary Lee Springer; and his sister, Sandi Devore, all of whom were from Garden City, Kansas. Mourning their loss are his wife, Johanna Springer; his sister and brother-in-law, Leigh and Kendall Kepley of Garden City, Kansas; his son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Leeanne Springer of Ft. Worth, Texas; his daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and Ryan Smith, of Broomfield, Colorado; his step-son, Bryant Glover of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Meric and Charles Peterson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his five beautiful grandbabies, Luciana Smith, Royce Springer, Odin Peterson, Jace Peterson, and Kai Peterson. Also mourning his loss are his numerous nieces and nephews. Rex was known for his devotion to his family, his generous spirit, his love for fishing, his passion for cooking, and his quick sense of humor. Rex will be missed by far too many friends and relatives to list, but each was loved beyond measure and remain in his heart even now in his passing.He would request that in lieu of flowers, donations in Rex's memory may be made to Cure CP (curecp.org) or to Colorado Parks and Wildlife (cpw.state.co.us).
