Obituary of Irene Kappelmann

In loving memory of Irene Kappelmann. She was a mother, grandmother, and friend. Irene lived ninety one years, most of her time spent in Widefield, Colorado. She was born in Germany on April 7, 1930, and lived through WWII in Germany as a child.�Irene moved to the United States in her twenties. She learned a new language and how to drive in her new country.�Irene spent some time in Alaska before coming to Colorado. In Colorado, her favorite place to be was the family cabin in the mountains.�She loved having dogs and always talked about how much she loved them. Irene was a great cook and baker and loved a strong cup of coffee. Irene was an avid bowler and loved to crochet. She loved to play rummy with friends or family.�Irene is survived by her two sons, Michael and Terry; and granddaughter, Leah.
