Obituary of Craig Arnold McElroy

Col Craig Arnold McElroy, USAF, (Ret.), 74, died January 15, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born January 24, 1947 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Amos Hoyt and Wilma Bernice (Kreig) McElroy.Craig worked at Lockheed Martin as an engineer. He was also a retired Colonel of the United States Air Force.He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Wilma McElroy.Craig's life was all about serving others. He was devoted to his country, loved his family and God. His legacy will continue through his children and grandchildren! He is known to his family as our "Silent Hero".Craig is survived by his wife, Toni McElroy; son, Christopher William (Jennifer) McElroy; daughter, Doriann Renee (Michael) Dumler; grandchildren; Izzy, Annie, Calista, Grayson, Orion, and Parker; sister, Neva Goodman; brother, Terry (Pat) McElroy; and numerous nieces and nephews.Celebration of Life, 10:00AM, Monday, March 14, 2022, Life.Church, 9306 Grand Cordera Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80924.Please join us for a lunch reception, immediately following the Celebration of Life, at the McElroy family home.
