I was sadden to hear about Don's passing. It was my pleasure to work with Don on four construction projects. As a contractor, I appreciated his attention to details. The running joke between us was telling him to double the amount of reinforcing steel because I was taking half out. I considered Don to be an engineer's engineer.

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Don. We came to know him through the Eiles' family. Enjoyed the many visits in the family gatherings and the many games Don loved to play. Admired Don in all the work he did on his family tree. He will be missed. LeRoy and Betty DeVries

Sorry to hear of Dons passing. Enjoyed playing with Don in the "Dixie Q" band. Don was a good musician, especially liked him playing the "saw" & introducing the dixie tunes. Missed playing in his band, the rehearsals and gigs it was a lotta of fun. Ed Texel

In my callow youth, I worked with Don as a drafter for Morgan & Assoc. where he was an engineer on staff in the early '70s. I remember him affectionately as a mentor and a down-to-earth and easy-going professional. It was an honor to have known him.

Don was a very good musical performer of classic jazz that I was very fortunate to have played for some years ago. His "toe tapping" tunes will still live on in the hearts and the minds of many appreciative fans. Al Eberhardt
